Meet our Pastor

Rev. H. Caldwell & First Lady Martha Caldwell

Rev. Henry Caldwell was born and raised in Columbia, SC.

He attended and graduated from Columbia High School where he played sports. He was a High School All American in basketball and went to college on a basketball scholarship at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He was on the 1977 Final Four Team.

He graduated from UNCC with a BA degree in Political Science.

While in Charlotte he served as a minister under the leadership of pastor W. D. Bailey at Siegle Ave Church Of God. Rev. Caldwell is married to his lovely wife, Martha.

Together as a blended family, they have four sons: Kevin, Julius, Henry, and Jason.

There are seven grandchildren: Savannah, Crystanie, Lily, Keciah, Ayrton, Ivy, and Hope.

A job change took Rev. Caldwell to the midwestern states of Michigan and Nebraska.

There he was on the fast track to management with St. Paul Insurance, becoming a regional manager of large accounts in a multi-state territory.

When he relocated Raleigh, NC, he became part of First Church of God in Raleigh in 2003.

There he served as Minister, President of the Churchmen, Elder, and Bus Driver. He also served as Interim Pastor for four years. Rev. Caldwell accepted the pastorate on July 3, 2016.

Rev. Caldwell is an Ordained Minister under the auspices of the Church of God with headquarters in Anderson, Indiana. His ministry calling includes ministering at the men’s and women’s prisons where he witnesses the Lord saving many by preaching the word of God, visiting and ministering at nursing homes, hospitals, and neighborhood outreach of those in need.
